Wright Park

Wright Park
established 1890

a green oasis in the city,
with broad expanses of lawn, picnic tables, a pond with islands
for sculpture, a kid's playground, and a conservatory.

Public bond measures have afforded funding for
infrastructure upgrades, pond restoration, new basketball courts,
entry upgrades, landscape improvements,
outdoor performance areas, and shelter and pathway upgrades.

I haven't been to that park ... in .. forever. It wasn't close to my house ... but I did go there a couple of times.

Sounds like a wonderful park and the sculpture is so joyous!

It's wonderful when the city planners put together something like this instead of thinking merely about roads and other important things.

Love the sculpture.
