I've been neglecting

the Gritty City.

Maybe this will help make up for my absence.

The blue skies of the past few days

have abandoned us

for the time being.

But I'm hoping for a glimpse of blue

between the clouds

even though the weather forecasters

are talking white. . .  again.

I was concerned

These logging trucks are heading down to the Port of Tacoma.

Ships are thought to be female
for some reason
so I wonder:

does the Cape Intrepid ask the Cape Island,
"Does this color make my aft look big?"
