One can never have too much of a great thing and I've been a fan of Chihuly for years. I was speaking to a museum person recently and learned that DC was involved in a car accident in 1976in which he lost the sight in his left eye. In 1979 he was involved in a body surfing accident and dislocated his shoulder and can no longer hold the glass blower. He still does the concepts and designs. He said his role is "more choreographer than dancer, more supervisor than participant, more director than actor." I didn't know any of this, but you probably already knew this.

Can we have some? His work is stunning and I love it but I don't think we have a single one here.
Wonderful photo!
