The blue skies of the past few days

have abandoned us

for the time being.

But I'm hoping for a glimpse of blue

between the clouds

even though the weather forecasters

are talking white. . .  again.

and gentle breezes.

you find people walking,
and jogging and cycling


in the parks and on the paths
bordering Ruston Way,
overlooking Commencement Bay.
