Recycling

We take recycling seriously here in the Pacific N.W.

This pile of boxes caught my eye because of the
ROCKST*R box.

There's a rock band video game
newly installed in the family room
and there's been a whole lot of singing and drumming.
At all hours of the day and night.

I've got rock stars on the brain.

Salvage Style

Near the corner of N. Pearl and 51st in Ruston,
there's a new shop about to open.
It's called Salvage Style

The owner is busy sprucing up the place
and hopes to have it open for business
in the next few days.

She finds treasures of the used variety
that are being cast off
and brings them back to chic-ness.

What could be more environmentally friendly?

Did I ever mention that the Museum of Glass
has a live feed
showing what's happening in the hot shop?

We were in the gallery watching this take shape,
but you could have joined us from home.
